My Sassy Girl Remake is in production

I really hate, hate it! My Sassy Girl, the Korean flick that launched Jeon Ji Hyun into stardom is going to be remade. The girl who will play her part in the movie is Elisha Cuthbert. I don’t know her. All I know is she stars in the series 24. Now, I don’t think I’d like to get that DVD anymore. Kidding. But I don’t really like what’s happening. First, they did "The Lake House" which is an "Il Mare" adaptation. Then, they will do "A Tale of Two Sisters". What the! This is one reason why I hate Hollywood. Well, of course, everyone copies everything from everyone else. Korea is no exception to that and vice versa. Even Filipinos are no exceptions. Everyone does it all the time. And I hate the way they describe the original version.. They can’t understand and would whine about JJH’s character. But for all I know, they could never outdo the original. This may just be me, but the reason I enjoy Korean series and movies nowadays is because I just got tired of Hollywood movies.There’s something about reading the subtitle and hearing a diferrent language and finding another way for a story to be told. And that, Hollywood could never do.
