Me singing Ya Ya Ya by Baby VOX

I sang this song at the Karaoke with my colleagues at work. All they can sing is the line "Yayaya". The next morning, they watched the Youtube video and it was an LSS for the following days.

This must be my first favorite Baby VOX song. This is from the 2nd album which was before Yoon Eun Hye was in the group and Lee Gai (the oldest member who’s said to be 29 y/o at that time, imagine that!)

I can’t find a translation on the net. But think of it as a sappy song. Something close to an M2M song. Oh, and Trish Thuy Trang, the girl who covers every song she knows and make it her album, covered it in English. I google-translated the hangul lyrics and it somehow matched her lyrics.

Go Charice!

I think I need to make a post on Charice Pempengco. Not that she needs it, she has lots of it in the Internet ever since she got famous on Youtube. She still has no Wikipedia entry yet though.

It’s interesting that after her TV debut in Korea, she got an offer to be with SM Entertainment. It would be better if she’ll go international I guess. So she wouldn’t end up like Sarah Geronimo. Sarah could become a BoA if ABS-CBN would just train her more on dancing since she can sing well. She’s not uber-cute but she’s cute enough and if she would sing, she’ll get more followers outside the country. Come to think, we don’t have popstars who dance. We got singing belters but don’t they get tired of belters? Those teenstars who pretends to dance on noontime shows just move their arms and feet and call it dancing. Do we even have breakdancers on TV nowadays?

Where was I? Ah, Charice, yeah, she should stay away from ABS-CBN now that she’s famous. On her own. They don’t know how to fully use a star. Hmm… should I have a DIE-ABS-CBN!-DIE! campaign?

She reminds me of early Josephine "Banig" Roberto.
She reminds my sister of early LeAnn Rimes.

I read this news link. If what happened there is right, I think it’s about time we stop other nationalities from treating us like we owe our money from them and they can do anything to anyone here.

Even before I got into the Korean Wave, I get comments from people I know about how negative Koreans are actually. A friend who used to sideline as an English tutor would tell me her frustrations a teaching her students. Or a coworker would tell how arrogant Korean bosses are. Or people criticizing the way they smell. I don’t really get bothered with these things, I know anywhere and everywhere for sure, there . And you can’t really blame other people’s cultures. It’s just treating everyone with respect and as long as they don’t bite me.

I saw an incident myself while going out one time in a Padi’s bar involving a drunk Korean and a group of Filipino males. I can’t remember exactly everything since I tend to close my world when I’m on a date I don’t really remember things that are not my business .They fought over a chick on the dancefloor. One of the Pinoy smashed a beer bottle to the Korean’s head. Police came and they both vanished. I thought someone would say "Cut!" or "It’s a wrap!" and shooting’s over.

Now, Filipinos witnessing video shoots is a different story.
