Last night was a happy night…

Last night was a happy night coz I finally enjoy watching Arashi on my TV. No, I don’t live in Japan nor I could depend on KeyHoleTV, nor I have other Japanese channels aside from NHK on my cable. What I meant is, most of my downloaded episodes of D no Arashi, GRA, even things from NewsHFan does work! That means, my viewing pleasure isn’t limited to my laptop which isn’t good for my back. It means, the codecs or format of the Arashi fansubs are just fine! Except for the Shukudai eps, I couldn’t play the videos , but right now, all I need is a bag of potato chips and I’m ready to enjoy Arashi!

Our player is one those cheap, pirated(?) video players, which we never could rely on to last longer than 6 months. But we had it for more than 2 years now, and it still work sometimes although it chooses which CDs/DVDs it can play. But the good thing about it is that it has a USB port so it could get inputs my portable USB hard drive or flash disks. No need to burn them to DVD formats, haha! Now, I hate burning DVDs even backups because it doesn’t guarantee that the DVD is correctly burned. I’m seriously considering buying another hard drive instead of burning them on DVDs.

And what’s this with my father buying 2 huge amplifiers? I heard that he wants to buy a Karaoke system, the MagicSing type. Good. Then, I wouldn’t be bothered to buy myself as requested by my sister. Now, I remember that my father is a big fan of sound system, I find it odd even when I was a kid, all we he would buy are karaoke system, souns systems, subwoofers, anything that gives enough volume to melt your heart. Maybe that’s why all of us siblings were aspiring/frustrated singers.

Now, I think by this time, my brother had already signed up for a SmartBro Internet connection. Ah, beginning this month, that’s Php1,000 off my wallet, monthly. How am I supposed to leave my job then? Ah, I wanna yawn…
