Important Randomness

• I just learned that the telecast of VS Arashi was delayed because of the eathquake in Japan. Now, if there’s 3 things that scares me about Japan, it’s the earthquake (are Arashi members ok?), the yakuza, and the high suicidal rate. I sympathize to the families of the hurt and of the 2 people who reportedly died in the disaster. Here in the Philippines, we had episodes of earthquakes but my history teacher back then told us that earthquakes in Japan are worse. This may not be true but he said that if plates here moves from side to side, in Japan it moves vertically – up/down. Well, I wouldn’t know, but any tragedy isn’t nice at all.
• I just learned from khimmy that I appear on her spam list. What? If I can’t find a way to stop that, I would close this blog. Spam comments on my Akismet is enough to lose my love for blogging, and now, I would be one them? No, I’d better be gone.
• I saw finally the Kodomo Bangohan rip aka Himitsu no Arashi-chan ep10. Wow, even Arashi can rip-off their own previous shows (and they didn’t mention the similarity?) All in all, it’s a fun episode, the kid is lovely, a real kid in a sense that she doesn’t trust just anyone. Remember: kids just don’t trust easily! So, don’t mess with them! But she eventually gave in to the equal cuteness of the two Arashi boys. But really, it’s like seeing a show reincarnating without the silly costumes. Next week, they’re not in their suits again. So, don’t worry Arashi fans, I guess they’ll keep the format but lose the formal suits. TO LIGHTEN UP THE SHOW. COZ GREY SUITS + HEAVY JAPANESE TALKS = DRIVES FANGIRLS AWAY! The Lolita episode may be good, interesting and surprising to some, but unfortunately, not for me. Cause I happened to watch Kamikazee Girls back then when I was some years younger. All they talked about, I saw already in the movie.
• Someone sent me a comment in the KeyHoleTV post about FreshVerse.com that streams FujiTV. And what best way to test it but on the only Arashi show on FujiTV — VS Arashi. Keyhole was still a lot ok coz I can hear at least a steadier sound, but I really can’t test it’s reliability since 1) I already had a slow connection and 2) I am massively downloading on MU. But I get to see pictures… and… some… sounds… which… s-top… e-ve-ry second. I don’t know who made the site (if it’s legally from FujiTV or not, but I guess not), but still, this is another alternative for people out there itching to see Arashi in real-time. Also, be aware of the people in the chatroom. In the few minutes that I *tried to watch* VSA, I had the impression that they’re somewhat English (speaking) people waiting for anime telecasts. And you might encounter a few not-so-subtle messages out there. I *think* they *talked* made fun of *Japanese game shows*. Whatever. Just remember [deleted] = censored words. • Correct me if I’m wrong (coz I had a hard time researching for concrete facts) but I had this impression that Himitsu no Arashi-chan’s rivals in the ratings were: Last Friends (Nagasawa Masami, Nishikido Ryo), CHANGE (Takuya Kimura) and Gokusen 3 (Nakama Yukie, HSJ boys). Now, I think even if there’s 3 billion Arashi fans in the world, it would really be tough to fight the competition (Gokusen is in the long time lead). And considering HnA is the only non-serial drama in this ball. So, can we forgive them now, if they change format? I already did News source.
