Ohno is still OK (I think)

My previous post talked about how Arashi (or Sho, in the fic) talked about how Riida is losing all the baby fats and cheeks he had from months ago. I wouldn’t deny that when I first saw Ohno on early AnS episodes (on Crunchyroll), he’s not exactly and idol-type (I didn’t even think of Arashi as a boyband or an idol group until much much lately on concert clips). He’s a cute guy whose pipi was touched by Shibata Rie. He was fat back then (and fat in a nice way, not sick fat).

Then, until a month ago, the dramatic change (which Pat used to weep on about for a few days when we talk on YM), the squishy Ohno is gone. Maou’s evilness stole our teddy bear (or your teddy bear, coz mine is Sho, wahaha!). Just last night, it was reported that the latest Himitsu no Arashi-chan mentioned about Ohno’s weight drop to around 40kg. I am 45kg (I stick to using that for years because I don’t obsess myself with scales) and I think I’m a lot skinny, unideal for an adult. The weight issue finally caught the attention of the fans, that it resulted to long exchanges (word count-wise) and serious take (meaning less flailing) at Arashi community forums.

I am also alarmed with what’s happening to Riida. But, I’d rather take this lightly, unless he’s into something serious. I could understand how work (my main work now is Arashi fangirling, not as an office worker, damnit!) could take its toll on a person’s health (even though I’m no idol). Just remember, he’s given a big break, a very challenging role and the pressure from fans all over the world, and there he is, just one person who’s only wish is to please everyone who supported him with this project (I would like to thank the staff, the crew, director-san, Johnny Kitagawa, etc.) Ohno is the type who would rather just do things he thinks of need to be done instead of speaking about it, even with his members. It not like he has time to do even his hobbies like fishing and drawing, but he sacrifices things for this project. He was requested to look fit (because he’s such a teddy bear with cute cheek, how could that make him look like a vengeful lawyer if he’s, uhm, in his typical umai-look?). I would only think twice, if he could not undo all these after the drama ends. I don’t know if this is just me, but I don’t think he was too chubby during his butai days.

So, yeah, I know everyone (his fans) just have that one wish, that all will end well with Ohno. He will be fine. For the meantime, let’s not kill that comedian who called him Plasma TV.

I’m not watching AnS lately, probably because I’m afraid to see Ohno all changed from his umai-habits. Does he still say umai a lot? I mean, does he still say umai only, his one dialogue?
