Watch Aiba and Jun’s 1998 Movie Subbed

Before I go to sleep, let me share a movie of Aiba and Jun in 1998 called Shinjuku Shounen Tanteidan (Shinjuku Boy Detectives) recently uploaded on RagTube. This is before they became Arashi, probably a little after Bokura no Yuuki, Mimantoshi where they were also together. Both of them are too cute to ignore in this movie despite the not-so-nice reviews. It also stars current big time stars such as Kanjani8’s Yokoyama Yu (Yuukan Club), Kyoko Fukada (Minami-kun no Koibito), and Kato Ai (Ikebukuro West Gate Park).

According to the synopsis of the subber: Aiba-chan plays Sosuke, a boy who always walking around in the street of Shinjuke, as he always want to be a detective. One night, while walking around in the street, he was suddenly attack by a monster robot (what?). After being attacked, Sosuke wanted to find out what happen, so he and three other youngsters including Jun set up "Shinjuku Boy Detectives", and tried to find the monster robot, however, they never knew that they will fall into a big conspiracy. Jun was only 15 years old at the time, and Aiba was only 16.

I haven’t seen this yet. Since anything that’s outside my RapGet tends to steal my connection, but I read that the story wasn’t very good, must be they tend to act older than their age (they’re kids you know! their Jr. days were torture horror days), there are not much rabu-rabu that time, and Aiba was then still cool and snobby. I miss that Aiba.
