I think this is a common thing also in our country. When someone drops his/weight, he’s into drugs. Or when a girl suddenly gains weight, she’s pregnant.
This is a rumor I come across on Arashi_On community journal about a recent article (July 27) on some woman who caught Oh-chan inhaling marijuana. Arashi_On people said the article will come out tomorrow with the said picture of Oh-chan smoking. If this is one of those Johnny’s-with-a-cigarette-paparazzi photo which they could turn into hey-that’s-a-marijuana-stick-instead, I wouldn’t know anymore (Japan don’t be a Hollywood!). I’m not exactly fond of rumors, they’re all part of life of the rich and the famous, nor am I for using such one to gain attention on the actor’s current project, but that’s how things happen sometimes. I’m the type who looks instead on public reaction rather than the actor himself. Let’s see what this will bring Riida.

There was a confirmation of Truth/Kimi no Mukou e set to release on 8/20, with a confirmation of Kimi no Mukou e being the Olympic song and a mention of Truth being the opener for "Ohno Satoshi’s drama".

At least I can sleep tonight. The whole mess might not be over but at least Jimusho is right behind Riida’s back for now. He’s still their talent. But as a fan affected by this and this is personal, it would take something big to bring back my smile. But I’m all for Riida. After all, what Aiba;s scandal seems to have taught me before is that he was almost kicked out of the Jimusho, not for anything but because probably he lost some advertisers willing to "invest" on him. But because of his fans, he stayed. Let’s do the same thing fans did for Aiba back then and multiply it 10 times or more. To consider, Arashi has more fans by now compared to years ago. That’s all, good night. You too, get some sleep (or do your thing, if it’s daytime in your place).
This is sad. How they make it look super malicious. Maybe because they know that fans already know that arashi members do smoke but to make it more interesting, why not make it more intriguing like marijuana??

I don’t know if the link I updated is the same pictures they will claim about the Marijuana thing or the threesome thing, but I really hope this will not hurt his image. Because at the start without any photos, I thought they would use a cigarette-in-his-hand photo.
Actually after the initial “pissed off” moment, I laughed at this issue.. I mean.. That’s right.. If you looked at tons of Ohno pics all around the net, it’s all about him goofing off.. These tabloids just needed something to make their papers sell.. How shallow.. What bothered me is that police would be involved in this (or so they say).. I really hated tabloids demo.. I hated Japanese tabloids more than anything.. They always tend to dig up old pics and issues and bring them up again.. God.. So lame..
well, tabloids are tabloids. i think just like cigarette, they should have a big warning on their fronts like “WARNING: FULL OF FICTITIOUS STUFF. DANGEROUS TO YOUR HEALTH.” but yes, the police angle could magnify the issue. but i believe this wouldn’t go as far as ohno being kicked out of Arashi. they can’t even prove anything with the pictures much more the marijuana issue. unless he take a drug test and found positive.
I hope its not true. I hate to see Maou get canceled because of this. I am no fan of Ohno or Arashi, but I am a fan of the drama.

I think the woman who would be most affected with these issues is Ohno’s mom. Not that she doesn’t trust his son, I mean, I remember people telling riida before that his mother took care of him well and she really taught him well.. Do I make any sense?!

I keep refreshing some blogs for updates! I hope it’s not reaaally serious (although the pictures and article is a little scary). Poor Riida had to go through these crap now coz he’s become popular. It’s heartbreaking. Thank God the fans are showing all their support. We’re all here for him whatever happens.

Pat, I think they’re serious if the main object of the tabloid is the marijuana, which is still a drug and is illegal in Japan, no matter how open people might be using them. I suspect they have more pictures but I’m hoping they do not. And yes, I think Ohno’s mom played a big role in his showbiz career (good thing though she didn’t become a stage mother), so she’s the the most broken hearted with these scandals.
On typos, I could beat you on that with everything I write in here. Good thing, we don’t have grammar police catching us yet. LOL!
Pix, I know it’s been said a lot before and by other fans as well, but I’m really hoping things would turn out better for Riida and Arashi, and yes, I’m happy that more people express their sympathy for Riida, instead of going against him. I may be a biased fan, but I like it this way, not judging Riida or anyone (oops, I said dumb tabloids, maybe I’m really just biased). But I love Riida over the tabloid. (what the hell am I talking about now?)

i think they all smoke or used to smoke. Aiba was said to quit coz he had lung problems before but I think yes, they all do. They even had scenes on movies and dramas were you can see that they “can” smoke.

what we’re afraid of is the “testimony” of the woman who reportedly saw Ohno inhaling the cannabis on the station. That’s what the police and the Jimusho were all about. I think they’re just trying to relate (the tabloid) Ohno’s past actions/photos to the allegation.

hi mayan, i read about that. i can’t be sure if it’s tampered or not (i looked at the bigger picture on fybabe’s blog). i noticed that even before the tampering issue came out, but I couldn’t tell for sure. i leave it to Ohno and the Jimusho probably to clear this all up.

i don’t know if they (koudansha) would have the guts to even tamper or photoshop the pics, if they really got caught, they would get sued so badly…(and we’re talking about getting sued by JE here)that they’d probably have to shut down. but their mite be a chance someone outside of koudansha photoshopped it and then sold it to koudansha
