SHO BEAT – March 30, 2008
Now that The Moments has ended, can we bring back SHO BEAT?
This is the Graduation Special or the last episode of Sho Beat which is interesting coz Sho-kun played his solo music! I never thought they were a lot. I normally don’t listen to his rap, except on Arashi songs and albums, but his solo projects are quite impressive like the Pen Series. Kikinini graciously allowed me to use her translations of this memorable episode, and it was headache timing it since the difference of how fast Aiba-chan and Sho-kun speaks is big and Sho-kun uses more slang/complex words and I know no Japanese, so forgive me of my mistakes. Also, the video, it was my dream to use Sho-kun’s song Hip Pop Boogie for a fast-paced Arashi fanvid, and I used it here although it’s not full. I always thought that song was great a travelling music. But then, it was hard concentrating on the subs when there’s a video, so I’ll stop using videos next time.
Basically, Sho-kun read as many letters as he can and share memories he had with the radio show. (So, please bring back the radio show!)

This is just a short clip that I found at Ju’s translation archives. Sho-kun talked about how everyone messed up in the TV performances of the song Step and Go. Wah, it seems just like yesterday that I first heard that song! Just yesterday! Does this mean that my life is such a static? Eh.
