Goo Hye Sun, 24, (only a year younger than Yoon Eun Hye) is finally revealed as the chosen one to play Makino’s Korean version for their remake of Hana Yori Dango or Boys Over Flower according to Asianpopcorn.

hmmm… I don’t hate her, but I’m not absolutely thrilled. I guess I’ll make a real judgement when the drama comes out! EXCITED!!!

I haven’t seen her previous work so I have no idea how she’ll turn into the character.. but then, it’s the 3rd time already that this manga will be adapted into a series, I hope I could still be interested enough to see their acting.

Kim Bum he is the only reason I am gonna watch the korean version of Hanadan, gesh I’ve watched the Japanese and Taiwanese versions so why not this version.Goo Hye Sun is adorable but kinda old to play the role of Makino. The producers should have cast an younger unknown. ^_^

i finished watching BOF, and to my utterly complete disappointment,
there were numerous times that i hated Jandi. Her wild (psychotic) outbursts just annoyed the hell out of me.

and i ended up almost destroying the dvd for always skipping her mopey scenes because she wasn’t doing any justice to makino’s character.

Anyway, to top it off, jandi looks old for the character. She’s okay, but most of the time she’s crazy. god, i want to slap her.

( i was only fond of her in the tagalog dubs. maybe it’s her real korean voice that irritates me )

There was just no enough chemistry between her and Jun Pyo.

And about the korean “lei” or “rui”, well, he was cute. He’d be okay if he was only for display. (oh right, he WAS just on display. The guy can’t act. )
He murdered Oguri Shun’s amazing portrayal of the role..

Before anybody else tells me that BOF is better than HYD, they should watch ALL the episodes of ALL of the different VERSIONS of the series, and you will know what i mean.

I didn’t watch the whole thing (yet) because I watched the first 2 versions already. But now, I’m sort of curious why everyone seems to love the Korean version most.

As for the subbed vs dubbed. I believe it depends on what you saw first. The subbed or dubbed version. Chances are, you’ll like the first you saw.

i think the korean version is the best than the others. i have watched all the version but still the best is boys before flowers. her acting is soo all out that we can feel what she really feels
