I know exactly what you mean though, as much as I love Momo it would be quite silly to say she had a legitimately great singing voice, but I think that’s what i like about her.

Personally I’ve never really been able to get into the male idol groups and I think it’s because they don’t seem quite as crazy to me, though I’ve minimum experience to go on there. From what you’ve said though the whole thing seems very similar to teh female side with the sheer amount of material they release being huge.

I’m likely to upload some of the H!P discography to my site in the near future so feel free to grab them unless you have somewhere else you already go to. If you like Buono! stuff then I guess Berryz is the closest thing I could recommend for checking out full albums.

If you plan on sticking with the H!P fandom though just be ready for all the monaing about their sales that goes on!

Realistically speaking, it’s not the ultimate solution. However, I don’t believe it’s that bad. Everyone wants to change something about ourselves – weight, eyes, anything. People work out furiously, fast, get lipo. Others get cosmetic surgery.

I think the only damage I felt was that I grew up really looking to these stars for their beauty. They were my Barbies. I spent hours looking at magazines and pictures of these stars wondering why I couldn’t look like that naturally. I deeply envied them.

And now I find out that it’s mostly false. It brings me relief and a good laugh. But at the same time, it makes me feel almost like all those years pining for that face or those huge eyes were for nothing. I was beating myself up for no reason.

That’s the only negative thing personally I could come up with.

Otherwise, I’m fine. In fact, I support plastic surgery. Do it if you want to.
Two of my friends did. One of them has been called Frog Face her entire life because of her fat upper eyelid and small eyes. She got surgery before going to college, and even though she doesn’t look like a celebrity, she looks much happier, much more confident.

That’s what I want for people who get the surgery. Happiness.

Ahh, fandoms is so good at making you feel bad, making you feel less of a fan by not buying idol stuff or not contributing in fandom. I’ve seen that in Arashi, it’s bad. Or at least it made me feel bad. Like life revolves around getting all the Limited Editions out there. or commenting to a sub file.

I started H!P with C-ute, and I’m relatively new to everything. I haven’t listen to any full MM and BK albums, just snippets of their singles. I tend to like PVs more than songs, that’s why. that’s what I meant with Berryz album

I go through faces of fandom myself too which means that my wallet is very rarely full. Don’t get me wrong though, I’m no avid buyer of things like idol products and that’s because I simply can’t afford them. You have my sympathy for switching to different fandoms as I know just how expensive it is.

So, a new Berryz album? Has one actually been announced or is this more of a wishful thinking kind of thing?
